Family Night and Screening of “Message In the Waves” at Sunset Beach Elementary: Wednesday, May 6, 6 p.m. Learn about the new ‘Aina Kine Kids Farmer’s Market and Snack Program at SBES; sample locally grown snacks; meet voyagers from the JUNK Raft and see what they found in the North Pacific Gyre, or “Garbage Patch;” and see the award-winning film “Message In The Waves.” Locally sourced lemonade from Food For Thought Hawai’i and Big Wave Tomato Pizza from North Shore Farms will be available for sale. More Gardens for ‘AINA IS Teachers: Are you interested integrating gardening into your teaching? Gardens are a great way to provide hands-on learning in a variety of subject areas.
