KEAP Highlights

Congratulations to the 14 school groups that completed Kokua Earth Action Projects (KEAP) this year. KEAP is an environmental service learning initiative encouraging students to work toward creating lasting, positive change in their schools and communities. Each student project was awarded a certificate of recognition and participating groups received a variety of rewards including, a surprise performance by Kokua Hawai’i Foundation co-founder Jack Johnson, a Pizza Party from our friends at RevoluSun, the opportunity to attend the Punahou Sustainability Fair, KEAP tote bags and more! Congratulations to the following schools for completing their 2011-2012 Kokua Earth Action Projects:

Students and teachers, start thinking of your Kokua Earth Action Project ideas for next school year!  2012-2013 KEAP Applications will be available to download from our website starting July 1, 2012 and applications will be due March 1, 2013.
