Peter Cole Art Show to Support Plastic Free Hawaiʻi
Join us on August 17th at Morning Glass in Mānoa from 7pm - 10pm as local artist Peter Cole debuts four totem paintings of objects found beachcombing at Kahuku Point. The totems are a hybrid of organic objects and mass produced plastic items. “They are intended to portray our culture, a product of various influences that have washed ashore since becoming part of this global economy in 1778,” said Peter Cole.  50% of the sale of these art pieces will be donated to KHF’s Plastic Free Hawaii program.  Email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for event details.
