There are many ways you can support Kokua Hawai’i Foundation’s Programs: 

• Become an ‘AINA In Schools garden or nutrition docent! We are currently building parent and community docent teams for the 2012-2013 school year. ‘AINA docents teach monthly nutrition lessons for grades 2 & 6, and monthly garden lessons for Grades K, 1, and 5 at our ‘AINA In Schools partner schools. No experience is necessary and times are flexible! Join us in educating the next generation about how to make healthy food choices and how to grow their own food at schools all over O’ahu.
    
• Spread the Plastic Free message! Plastic Free Hawai’i offers opportunities for volunteers to support schools and communities to go Plastic Free through outreach events and beach clean ups.
    
• Enjoy interacting with the public? Weekends offer opportunities to support general KHF outreach efforts at farmers’ markets or other community events.
