Make your Earth Day Resolution today!

The Kokua Hawai'i Foundation has partnered with Kanu Hawai'i to make our Earth Day Resolutions count. Check the boxes below to select resolutions and register to have them counted. Our pledges and the impact we create together will be tracked on the Kokua Hawaii Foundation website and the portable widget you see in the left hand side of this page.

My Information

Zipcode (if in the U.S.)
I am going to Kokua Festival 2008. Note: If you’re attending the 2008 Kokua Festival, be sure to visit the All At Once and Kanu Hawai'i booths. Also, look for our roaming cameraman Special Ed to make your Earth Day Resolution on film.

My Resolutions

I will take my own reusable bags for all shopping purposes.
I will fill up reusable bottles instead of buying bottled water.
I will use reusable containers and utensils when I pack my lunches and bring my own when I get take-out food.
I will recycle at home, at work, and when I'm out and about.
I will compost my family's food waste.
I will buy more locally-grown products to support my local farmers, cut down on carbon emissions, and eat healthier, tastier foods.
I will start my own garden to grow more of my own food.
I will walk, bike, or catch the bus at least once per week instead of driving.
I will reduce my energy consumption by replacing at least 2 standard light bulbs with CFLs. (LED's are even more efficient!)
I will volunteer at least 3 hours a month with an environmental non-profit organization.
I want to write my own Earth Day Resolution!
