3R’s School Recycling

One thousand blue recycling bins have been delivered to the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation office in preparation for a new school year in which we anticipate many new schools to join the 3R’s family. Those schools already participating in ʻĀINA or Plastic Free Hawaiʻi programs, make great candidates for creating a 3R’s recycling program. Any size school can be accommodated, and these programs provide a great opportunity to educate students on resource conservation and responsibility.
