Program Coordinator Position
Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation is seeking full- and part-time program coordinators to help to support, strengthen and grow its environmental educational programs including: ʻĀINA In Schools, a K-6 gardening, nutrition, and compost curriculum connecting children in 23 schools to their local land, waters, and food to grow a healthier Hawaiʻi; the 3Rs School Program empowering students to educate their school community about the 3Rs of waste reduction; Plastic Free Hawaiʻi providing resources, tools, and trainings to educate about the environmental and health benefits of going plastic free to minimize single-use plastics in our islands; and new programs being developed on the Kōkua Learning Farm. Store Manager- Social Enterprise Position
The Social Enterprise Manager will help develop, lead and manage KHF storefronts and the KHF social enterprise staff and volunteer team, serving as an example of excellence in environmental education, low-waste business operations, customer service, retail sales and operations, and team development. The ideal candidate is a passionate leader capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail and connecting with employees, partners, vendors and customers. They will communicate a clear and compelling direction for the storefronts and will coach team members to run the store efficiently in alignment with KHF’s brand and mission, ensuring the storefronts are customer-ready in line with standards for visual merchandising, environmental messaging, and low waste operations set by the CEO, COO, and Business, Membership, and Community Outreach Director.
