ʻĀINA In Schools End of Year Garden Parties

The school year is wrapping up and it’s time to put ʻĀINA garden beds to sleep for the summer! ʻĀINA In Schools Garden Party volunteers are invited to work alongside students, parents, and teachers to harvest, weed, and mulch. Garden Party projects may include building and repairing garden beds, loosening and amending the garden soil, planting a summer cover crop, mulching the perimeters of gardens, building compost piles, weeding, creating garden artwork, watering, and more. The general public and volunteer groups are invited to kōkua!
