KHF Staff at the Kōkua Learning Farm
Happy Earth Day! Today, Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation Staff are on the Kōkua Learning Farm, getting our hands in the soil with community partners and sharing Plastic Free Hawaiʻi School Mural Entries in the Kōkua General Store. We hope you have time today to get outside and connect with this beautiful world we live in.
Since the fall KHF has been reflecting on our past and our future as we bring our new home to life in Haleʻiwa (learn more here). Kōkua has always been led by a committed team with a passion for our ‘āina and our keiki. We are formalizing a leadership structure that reflects our growth and builds on the strengths of our dedicated team. Our co-founder Kim Johnson has stepped back in as CEO as we develop and grow the new programs, businesses and activities at the Kōkua Learning Farm, storefronts and Kōkua Community Center. Our longstanding staff members Kaliko Amona, Natalie McKinney and Kelly Perry round out the leadership team and will continue to guide environmental education programs and partnerships at our new headquarters and across Hawaiʻi.
