Lei Day with Meleana Estes
Saturday, May 6, 2023: Join us for a Talk Story with Lei Maker Meleana Estes, who is launching her new book Lei Aloha! She will be teaching us the history and craft of lei making and island traditions along with a Native Plant show and tell ��
| Indigo Elixirs Body Oil Workshop Saturday, May 13, 2023: The founder and creator of Indigo Elixirs, Deanna Rose Ahigian, will be hosting a make your own body oil workshop! We will have herbs and flowers available for use from the Kōkua Learning Farm, including comfrey, calendula, basil, and lavender. Class is $30 and spots are limited! Be sure to register to reserve your spot.
| Period Poverty Awareness Week May 23-29, 2023: May 23-29 is Period Poverty Awareness Week! We wanted to give a shout out to our partners Maʻi Movement who do amazing work bringing period poverty awareness to our local communities. When you come into the Kōkua General Store and purchase a maʻi product, the Kōkua General Store donates a sustainable maʻi product to a woman in need ❤️
