Kōkua Learning Farm Fall Youth Internship Program

The Kōkua Learning Farm Fall Youth Internship Program starts September 7th! This program is open to students from Wahiawā to Kahuku who attend Leilehua HS, Waialua HIS, and Kahuku HIS. Private and homeschool students from these areas are also welcomed and encouraged to apply. Students from outside these areas will be added to a waitlist. Apply at bit.ly/klfinternfall22
A Great Opportunity for Students:
Gain experience as mahiʻai through on-farm training to build skills and knowledge around agroecology, crop cultivation, fruit and vegetable production, and soil health maintenance.
Become ʻāina stewards to the loʻi and kalo library and expand connections with the community.
Use farm fresh produce and learn about different cooking techniques and flavor profiles. Take home harvested produce to share with ʻohana and friends.
Gain community service hours for graduation requirements.
No gardening experience is necessary and all interested youth are encouraged to apply! Internship starts September 7th and runs through December 14th on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm. Reach out to [email protected] with any questions about this opportunity.
