Kōkua Learning Farm Update
January 05, 2021
In the last few weeks we began to experiment on the Kōkua Learning Farm with a few new crop varieties including beets, bok choi, mizuna, choi sum, lavender, and broccolini. We’re very excited to see how our harvests grow throughout 2021 as we begin to bring volunteers back to the farm and develop our crop plan. Please join us in wishing these new crops a healthful start to the new year!
Join us on the first Saturday of each month beginning February 6 from 9:00am-12:00pm for a return of the Kōkua Learning Farm Community Work Days and help prepare the land for planting and other general improvement projects. Projects may include but are not limited to: clean up, mulching, weeding, and planting. Pre-registration required. If you have a small company or school group who would like to schedule a work day, please reach out to us and register via this form.
