Kōkua Learning Farm Youth Internship

The Kōkua Learning Farm Youth Interns have been working hard this semester! As a paʻahana cohort they have built the first hoop house on the farm where we are currently growing cucumbers and tomatoes! They have experimented with different farm fresh produce to create delicious recipes such as Green Papaya Salad and Raw Carrot Salad. Our interns have also put in hours of work tilling, amending rows and planting out new crops such as Yacón, Okra, Chinese Cabbage, and Sunflowers.
