Mahalo to our ʻĀINA In Schools Garden, Compost and Nutrition Docents - There’s Still Time to Join th

Mahalo to the parent and community volunteers who attended the fall ʻĀINA Docent Orientation and Trainings. ʻĀINA Garden, Compost, and Nutrition Docent formed their teams, practiced lesson activities, and Compost Docents even made their own worm bins to take home. Mahalo to Mililani Uka, Aikahi, Kahuku and Waiʻalae Public Charter school for providing the training space, and to World Centric for donating all this school year’s ʻĀINA Lesson bio-compostables! Our second round of ‘ÅINA lessons begins this month.

You can volunteer with Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation and join an ‘ĀINA In Schools Docent Team. No experience is needed and training will be provided. See training dates below and contact us  for more information and to RSVP!
