This month, we will be inspiring and empowering people to go plastic free at several events on Oʻahu. Stop by to talk about plastic or pick up one of our branded reusable goodies like a bamboo spork, metal straw, utensil set, or insulated bottle!
Surfjack Summer at the Swim Club
Saturday July 14, 12-4pm at the Surfjack Hotel in Waikīkī
Join Plastic Free Hawaiʻi for Summer at the Swim Club at the SurfJack, a fundraiser for Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation. Experience art, music, cocktails, door prizes, and more. $10 donations will be collected at the door. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation. Creative Reuse Open House for Educators
Saturday, July 14, 9am-1pm, at the Art Explorium in Kaimuki
In a casual Open House setting, teachers are invited to drop in between 9 and 1 to check out creative reuse projects centered on art and sustainability and pick up complimentary classroom/art supplies and resources. Guided art activities will be offered for children ages five and up. This event is free, but registration is required.
Zero Waste Summit at SALT at Kakaʻako

The festival includes a Zero Waste Summit, which will be held on Saturday July 14, from 12:30-5:30pm. We will be have the Plastic Free Hawaiʻi booth open starting at 10am. The Zero Waste Summit is part of the 3-day Moana Lani Festival, July 13-15 at SALT at Kakaʻako which features vendors, music, and inspiration around ocean conservation and zero waste. For event details, click here.

Find the Plastic Free Hawaiʻi booth at this annual family event. This event will also offer two free screenings of Straws, an inspiring short documentary about single-use plastic straws.
