Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation Project Grants and Field Trip Grants are now open for the 2020-2021 school year!
ʻĀINA Farm to School Field Trips We are currently working with our farmer partners to reserve ʻĀINA Farm to School Field Trip destinations and tentative dates for the next school year. KHF will provide an update to all teachers at ʻĀINA Schools on the reservation process, tentative dates, and selected farm locations as soon as these are set.
ʻĀINA In Schools PDE3 Educator Trainings Due to the uncertainty of physical distancing requirements in the fall semester, we will share course information for the SY 2020-21 PDE3 ʻĀINA In Schools Garden/Compost and Nutrition Curriculum Training for Educators as soon as it becomes available. Kū ʻĀina Pā School Garden Teacher Training Program June 2-25. This online training will address four fundamental components of teaching and learning in a school garden.
Mālama Learning Center’s Snails and Rat Lungworm Professional Development Workshop June 24. Researchers will introduce teachers to lessons that will connect students to local issues surrounding invasive species and Rat Lungworm.
