This weekend Kōkua Hawai‘i Foundation provided a water refill station to the North Shore Menehune Surf Competition to minimize the use of single-use plastic! Between heats, the Plastic Free Hawai‘i team engaged keiki to find positive solutions to protect the ocean.
One of our favorite responses from a 4th grader: “I will show people with podcasts and teach them about pollution. Let’s stop global warming and save coral reefs.” 🪸🐟
