We hosted our third Community U-Pick event on Saturday, May 25th for families from across the island to harvest their own fruits, vegetables and herbs from the Kōkua Learning Farm. Participants also had the opportunity to harvest, press, and sample sugarcane and the sweet juice it provides! Katie Metzger of Hānai Hives also hosted a Hive Dive where participants learned all about bees, other pollinators, and the amazing benefits they provide to farm life.
