Huge congratulations to our Kōkua Learning Farm Youth Interns on the completion of their 15-week farm program! To conclude, interns from Cohort 11 led a tour around the Kōkua Learning Farm where they each highlighted lessons they learned on the farm and even in the kitchen. We are so proud of these youth interns and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Applications for Cohort 12 of the Kōkua Learning Farm High School Internship Program are now open. Students will meet every Wednesday from 3pm-5pm from February 4 – May 13. This hands-on internship program is a weekly opportunity for students in grades 9–12 to explore sustainability, mālama ʻāina, and community care through real-world, hands-on farm focused learning. It’s also a chance to become part of a passionate ʻohana working to care for Hawaiʻi’s people and places. Please spread the word or apply yourself by filling out this application here.
