World Bee Day is on May 20, and we’re celebrating with a second Kōkua Learning Farm Community Workday on Saturday, May 23 from 9am-11:30am! Volunteers will have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities including a guided Hive Dive, plant starts dipped in honey using farm cuttings like ʻilima, and a keiki-friendly Bee Water Station to learn simple ways to support pollinators at home. You can also taste test delicious honey in the Backyard Garden anytime from 10am-1pm! On Saturday, May 23 only, we are offering 10% off all Hānai Hives honey and an exclusive 15% off for KHF Members in the Kōkua General Store and ʻĀINA Farm Stand.
