ʻĀINA In Schools is a farm to school initiative launched in 2006 that connects children to their local land, waters, and food to grow a healthier Hawaiʻi.
This training is open to all K-6 teachers using a hybrid model with in-person training sessions held on Oʻahu. In all virtual sessions, participants will be expected to engage via video-conferencing (Zoom) and collaborative documents (e.g. Google Docs). Participants will receive 3 PDE3 credits.
Space is limited, please register via Learnsoft. There is a $100 course fee*

Class 1 (Virtual)

Virtual Orientation and PDE3 Logistics
Class 2, 3, & 4 (In-Person)

*Garden-Based Learning & Compost Participants must be able to implement garden lessons at their school via outdoor or indoor garden system with the approval of their school administrator.
