As we continue to navigate through the impacts of back-to-back storms here on the North Shore and across the island chain, we hope to shed a little light for our keiki, community, local farmers, and beyond at our Farm Fun(d) Day — a flood relief fundraiser for our community at the @kokualearningfarm. Please join us next Friday, April 3, anytime from 10am-2pm, for community connection, farm arts & crafts activities, food, music, and more.
While there is no fee to attend this event, attendees are welcome to make a donation upon registration or in person at the event, and 100% of proceeds raised will be donated to @hfuuofficial to support our local farmers affected by the flood to get back on their feet. HFUF is working directly with leaders in each farm community to provide support for the unique needs of their families and farmers. If you’re an impacted farm and want to learn more about possible support for your recovery, please stop by the HFUF booth on Farm Fun(d) Day.
If you’re able to kōkua, please consider helping out in one or more of the following ways:
🌱 Make a direct donation on our event page bio to support the HFUF’s efforts of providing immediate needs of North Shore farmers.
🌱Bring non-perishable food items to the Farm Fun(d) Day or donate to the @hawaiifoodbank for distribution in the community
🌱Support initiatives led by @lahuifoundation who are mobilizing supplies, food, and volunteers to support families impacted
Register you and your ʻohana through the link in our bio today and let’s continue to uplift the spirits of our community together! 💚 We recognize this will be a long road to recovery and are here to support in every way we can.
