Give old clothing a fresh new life! Join us at the Kōkua General Store on August 22 from 10am-2pm for an Indigo Dye Bath! Bring your natural fiber clothing and learn how simple plant-based dye techniques can completely transform pieces you already own.
It’s a creative reminder that sometimes our favorite “new” clothes are already hanging in our closet. Bring a clean item made from natural fibers to dye, like:
- Cotton
- Linen
- Hemp
- Canvas
- Silk
- Wool
$5.00 donation per item dyed, with 100% of proceeds supporting Kōkua Hawai’i Foundation. We kindly ask you bring no large or dense items to dye, such as bedsheets, towels, or sweatshirts.
